Opening Hours: 10am – 4pm
- La Traviata. Two of the Rockdale Opera Company‘s principal artists, Daniel Verschuer and Camilla Wright, will sing pieces from La Traviata as well as other popular arias and songs. Free with admission.
- Costumes from the Vaults. A new exhibition of iconic costumes from previous productions of the Rockdale Opera Company. Free with admission.

Tea Room
High Tea: Both High Tea and Lydham Hall originated in the Victorian Era, making this the perfect place for the refined indulgence of a tantalising selection of sweet and savoury treats paired with fine teas and fresh coffee. Places limited. Click here to book.
Our traditional Devonshire Tea (freshly baked scones, clotted cream, jam, tea or coffee) is always on the menu.
Tea Room Reservations
Guests are welcome in our tea room at any time between 10am – 4pm but there may be a short wait to be seated during busy periods.
Reservations are optional.
To reserve a table, we request a $20 deposit.
After selecting your entry tickets, add a single ‘Tea Room Reservation’ (qty 1). Mention the time and table size in the order notes during booking, e.g. “Table for 4 at 12pm”.
If you arrive within 15 minutes of your booking time, the deposit will be refunded within 24 hours.
If you don’t cancel your reservation by 9am and don’t arrive within 15 minutes of your booking time, the $20 deposit will not be refunded.
On-street parking is available or a short bus trip from Rockdale Station takes you within a 5-minute walk of the museum.
The house and manicured gardens are regularly open to the public and for group tours and venue hire.
The interior of Lydham Hall is presented in the style of a late Victorian residence, with a fine collection of antique furniture and over 1,500 objects of local and historical interest contained within the rooms and in the museum upstairs.
The museum also has a library and archives which contain a broad range of books, photographs and documents on local places, people, events, and institutions.
