Donate Objects

The St George Historical Society greatly appreciates the many kind offers we receive to donate items for our collection.

We are particularly interested in objects that tell a story – about people, places or events.

These include:

• documents (e.g. correspondence, certificates)
• artwork (e.g. photographs, sketches, and paintings)
• commonplace items used in the home, work, school, or on holiday (e.g. household iron, reading glasses, pocketwatch, hats, uniforms)
• consumables (e.g. perfume bottles, food containers, medicine bottles)
• ephemera (e.g. catalogues, magazines, advertisements, maps, menus, ticket stubs, newspapers, postcards, posters, sheet music, stickers, and greeting cards)
